Dr. Adamu Dangoni is the Chairman and Group Managing Director/Chief Executive officer of ANNIG AND NOWAS GROUP LIMITED. Dr. Dangoni read Accounting from 1997 to 2004 at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and graduated with Second Class Honours.
As an entrepreneur par excellence with an independent mindedness he founded the ANNIG AND NOWAS GROUP LIMITED, which started as a petroleum marketing company. Today, the company has diversified into various business facets. They include Eye-Gy Mineral Resources Industries Limited, Calis International Limited, Nowas Oil and Allied Products Limited, and Nowas-Group Holdings Inc. USA, which has its operational base in Houston Texas U.S.A.
Dr. Dangoni (KSM) has held numerous positions in public life. In the year 2000, he became the Special Adviser (SASD) to the National president of Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN). His enviable record while holding this office, effortlessly, earned him the powerful post of the IPMAN National Secretary. He is currently the leader of the South East Caucus of IPMAN. He also sits on the board of Nigerian Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) PLC, as a director. He was also the corporate guarantor during the acquisition and formation of IPMCL that transformed into NIPCO PLC.
Being an adventurous person, he made forays into the banking sector, which saw him establishing and managing two formerly addressed community banks, namely, IHEMBOSI COMMUNITY BANK and ANYA COMMUNITY BANK. With the current restructuring of the banking sector by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), he relinquished his chairmanship of the Ihembosi Community Bank, but maintaining his shareholding. Also in line with the new policies of the Central Bank, he successfully transformed the Anya Community Bank into Rimi Micro Finance Bank Ltd.
For his numerous and abundant skills in the forays of business, both individually and in corporate settings he was recognized by the PACIFIC CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY, CALIFORNIA, USA, which awarded him the prestigious Doctorate Degree in Business Administration.
Mrs. Amina Dangoni is also one of the Executive Directors of Rimi Micro Finance Bank Limited. She is the wife of the Chairman of the Bank, Dr. Dangoni. She obtained a Diploma in Social Works from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is an astute business-woman with sound pedigree.
Mr. Agbasu Bashir Abdulahi is one of the Directors of Rimi Micro Finance Bank Limited. He attended South East London College and South Bank University, London where he obtained a Diploma in Info Tech & Comm. He was the President/CEO of NECH AND WORLD LTD, Parent Company of Nech and World Hotels Ltd Mob and Nech Construction Company Ltd, Sharon Oil Ltd, NEGEV Global Resources Limited. He later became the President/CEO of Wireless Solutions Limited. UK. Currently, Mr. Agbasu Bashir Abdulahi is the President/CEO of Best Western Premier Hotel, Port Harcourt.
As an Entrepreneur employing hundreds of young Nigerians in his companies, Agbasu Bashir Abdulahi makes it a point of duty to not just help Nigeria’s youths earn a living, but also challenges them to dare to dream and reach their full potentials. He has bagged many awards and Recognitions for his entrepreneurial and humanitarian qualities, among which where Vanguard Award, vocational award for Excellence by OIEA International, Omega Legend Award etc.
Mrs. Fanda Adamu Audu is one of the Directors at Rimi Micro Finance Bank Limited. She holds a Bachelors Degree in English Language and Literature from Ebonyi State University. She also got her PGDE from Nwafor-Orizu College of Education. She is the Head of the Credit Committee of the bank. Prior to her current employment, she was the Head of Credit and Marketing of the Bank.
Mr. Idris Adamu is one of the Directors of the Bank. He holds a Bachelors Degree in English Language. He was the General Manager at GIB Motors Limited. Currently, he is the Group General Manager of Annig & Nowas Group Ltd. He has amassed many years of experience in management positions.
